Brian produces electronic compositions based upon his own sound design & field recordings, drawing inspiration from contemporary artists such as Aphex Twin, Autechre, 80's synth pop from Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, New Order, and ambient by Tetsu Innoue, Harold Budd, and Pete Namlook.

November 30th: Sorry for the lack of updates! I've been blessed with some excellent reviews and international radio play, which I'll add links to shortly. I have been busy working on Antares Auto-Tune 5, and an upcoming midi based audio processing plug-in that is going to knock the socks off plug-in lovers -- a very widely appealing joy to tinker with.

At any rate, after all the design work and testing on AT5 (I'm proud of the new Humanize feature I came up with, and much of the Graphical Mode design) we've finally released all the versions (Mac-Intel, PPC, WinXP, AU RTAS VST TDM) except PC TDM. I love the new Auto-Tune 5, but I'll be happy to move on to something that's more likely to end up in my own compositions.

I haven't had much time to work on new compositions, but my next album which will probably take another year to finish is well under way with a new concept -- all the tracks will feature real drums I've recorded of my new collaborater Jess E. Wilson, who contributed a drum loop I recorded of him on Beyond Words. Some of these are loops I cut up and rearranged, but there will also be fills and drum solos. There won't be any stock drum samples or loops.

Here's a brief, rough sample of the newest piece I'm tinkering with (harmonic components will become more developed, plus more trickery):
